Abstract: this is one of nine Coordinating Centers of Excellence (CCOE) Initiatives established by the Ohio Department of Mental Health (ODMH). The SAMI CCOE promotes utilization of Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) for adults with co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse.

Abstract: The Criminal Justice CCOE is sponsored by the Northeast Ohio University Colleges of Medicine and supported by the Summit County ADAMH Board. It is designed to promote the statewide development of criminal justice diversion programs using a consensus model developed at the national GAINS Center.

Abstract: The Ohio Council of Behavioral Healthcare Providers, a private, not-for-profit corporation, is a trade association representing provider organizations throughout Ohio which provide behavioral health care services to their communities.

The Ohio Council administers the Community Mental Health and Alcohol/Drug Addiction Services Financial Management Group (FMG) for financial officers of behavioral healthcare provider organizations, county boards, and other organizations doing business in the behavioral health environment.

The Clusters CCOE, supported by the Ohio Council of Behavioral Healthcare Providers, and administered by Synthesis, Inc., seeks to improve service quality by promoting the use by mental health agencies of an approach which "clusters" clients based on clinical characteristics, and using these clusters as a basis for service planning.

Abstract: this is the site for the CCOE for Dually Diagnosed: Mental Illness and Mental Retardation, Developmental Disabilities (MI/MRDD). This CCOE, supported by Wright State University and The Ohio State University, promotes best practices for persons with co-occurring MI/MRDD and provides assistance with building community capacity through regional and statewide training, assessment and local team building.

The Ohio Department of Mental Health has established nine initiatives called 'Coordinating Centers of Excellence', or CCOE. These CCOE programs serve as a resource for Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs) while playing a supporting role in Ohio's Mental Health Clinical Quality Agenda.
