Have you had mental health problems?

Would you like to cope better and

lead a healthier life?

Do you often get the blues, feel sad or hopeless, worry too much, have trouble concentrating, or have thoughts or behaviors that are hard to control?

Would you like to learn how to manage these symptoms better with a plan you create for yourself?

If so, this study may be for you !

Researchers at the University of Illinois at Chicago are working with partners in Ohio to study Wellness Recovery Action Planning, or WRAP.  WRAP is a free peer-led program designed to help people manage their mental health problems.

Being in this research means going to wellness groups in your community for two months, either now or in the future.  It also means being confidentially interviewed over the telephone three times about your experiences, health, social support, and daily activities.

People who qualify for this study are those with a serious mental illness, are over the age of 18, speak English, and agree to be interviewed.

Call this toll free number from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. to learn more and see if you qualify!  Group size is limited, so call early!
